Influence Of Society
Society is a group of individuals involved in persistent social interactions.
We all know that the society molds our person, we perform better in groups than alone.
Pending on how good a person’s cooperation is leads to a powerful and successful person.
As there are the positive aspects of society there are the negative parts.
I interviewed a person and the study had a lot to say concerning this topic.
The Study said, “Instinct or society has imbibed this sense of competition in us, sometimes healthy sometimes it's not, and we feel that pressure to succeed most between the ages of 20 and maybe 27 or 39 where you're caught between figuring your life out and speculations about the future. You begin to feel shortcomings or limitations when you feel or begin to see that your peers already have their life figured, in facets like career, relationship, academics, materially and even financially. Another is feeling you're not as good as the other person prolly because of the kind of education you had, kind of country you are in, kind of family you grew up in, hurdles and circumstances you might have faced...for some it's just the intimidation or inferior feeling that some suppose come with the opposite sex. Whatever it is, it all boils down to the absence or insufficience of self belief.”
The society can affect us both positively and negatively, it teaches us to be communicative, competitive, successful, to be a survivor, it gives you hope, it can also break your back; Take you to a dark corner, all by yourself wishing for the ground to swallow you up. Sometimes Self-Doubt develops when you see what others are achieving and you fear that you can’t do as much as they can, you fear that you would be compared, judged, you fear you wouldn’t be enough and even your best isn’t the best.
The Study also responded to my question on Self-Doubt, I asked “How do you deal with self-doubt.’
The Study replied “Now the way i deal with self doubt is that i try to focus on the good, things could be a lot worse you know...no matter what I face I have come to the understanding that where there is a will there is a way and I once heard someone say "...your background doesn't have the right to keep your back on the ground". Plus I'm a Christian, I believe in God and in his word where he says he knows the plans he has for me, and moreover if he can provide for the birds of the air, how much more me...so basically I just sit back and let God do what he can do...he can do better with my life in 24hours than I can do with it in 24 months.”
This response pleased me, because it made me understand that even if the going goes wrong, you keep smiling and try again. I’m also Ill with the Self-Doubt Disease, there is no medication to cure it, it’s always going to be there, quite curtly I say ‘It is the fuel to your greater push.’
